Lori is no stranger to hard work.
She grew up in a farm community, was the first in her family to go to college, and worked to support her husband Shawn while he attended medical school.
Shawn and Lori settled in Happy Valley nearly two decades ago to raise their twin daughters. They founded Anesthesia Associates Northwest and grew the small company into one of Oregon’s most respected healthcare firms.
Lori believes it is important to serve your community. In 2002, she was appointed to the Happy Valley Parks Committee, went on to be elected to the Happy Valley City Council, and was elected Mayor in 2010 and 2014.
- Lori will make sure our gas taxes are being used to fix our roads, strengthen Oregon’s economy, and reduce traffic congestion.
- Lori will make funding education her top priority, and as a State Representative she will invest in education and training that leads to careers in high-demand fields.
- As Mayor, Lori balanced the budget every year, helped the city put $2.5 million dollars in reserves, and was also able to pay off city debts early. Recently, Lori led the effort to keep a dedicated police force to ensure low response times for more than 3,000 calls a year.
"I’m running to be your next representative, and I look forward to earning your vote!"
