North Clackamas Chamber Endorses Lori Chavez-DeRemer for House District 51

(Happy Valley, OR) – Today, the Lori Chavez-DeRemer for House District 51 is proud to announce the endorsement of Clackamas County’s largest business advocacy group, the North Clackamas Chamber of Commerce

"Happy Valley Mayor Lori Chavez-DeRemer has served the city well, helping create a place where people like to live," said Laura Edmonds, President and CEO of North Clackamas Chamber. "As Mayor for a city that faces issues and works well with others, we can hope for the same in Salem. Visible and active in the Chamber, she understands business issues and will advocate or the Chamber agenda. She earns our endorsement for these reasons along with her opposition to Measure 97."

The North Clackamas Chamber is an association of approximately 500 businesses organized to improve the business climate and contribute to the economic health of its membership in Boring, Clackamas, Damascus, Gladstone, Happy Valley and Milwaukie areas of Clackamas County.

Lori grew up in a farm community, was the first in her family to graduate from college, and worked to support her husband Shawn while he attended medical school. Shawn and Lori settled in Happy Valley nearly two decades ago to raise their twin daughters. They founded Anesthesia Associates Northwest and grew the small company into one of Oregon’s most respected healthcare firms.
